Big Sale Has Started - UPDATED 07-31-25 (01 Apr 2025)
As some of you know my dad passed away 2 months ago today, on May 31, 2025. I posted it in the Members Only section when it happened. Thanks to all of you who have offered kind words on the forum, with phone calls, and visits in person during this time.
The Big Sale is on but not like originally planned, it is a by appointment type of thing now. I don't have the manpower, or the desire to do a big event like originally planned, I just need to sell a lot of parts that are taking up too much space here. I have been told and believe we are overloaded with Wheel Horse parts like no one has ever seen. Peeps have already been coming in from different parts of the country and buying a lot of stuff due to seeing the sale page, and seeing we are the only Wheel Horse only business in the USA that does things on the scale we do. The sale will continue for awhile until I free up some more space but you may not want to wait too long as things are being sold every day and there are limits to how many of certain parts will be sold.
As it says on the page it is still under construction and the page isn't finished yet. I've had a ton of calls for parts and the Big Sale Page may help answer some questions about what is here before peeps call. I hope that page is also clear that we DO NOT SHIP anything... This is a by appointment type of thing now. Be sure to call before you come to make sure the day isn't already full with peeps scheduled to come in, and make sure what you want is still available.

You can lead a horse to water but you can't make him drink.

We did some welding, more hole filling, and sealing. We also decided to make our own top entry kit. They cost $200.00 new (ouch, and pic below) so we made another trip to the welding shop to get a piece of 14 gauge and some slices of a piece of square tubing. Cost - $15.00. There are a lot of benefits, this is from the website.
1. Ergonomic Comfort: The typical setup in a blast cabinet has you fighting the pressure in the blast hose as it comes up through the deck and must be bent downward to blast. With a top entry kit, the blast hose comes in through top of the cabinet and blasting is more like writing with a pencil than holding on to a high pressure hose.
2. Adjustable: Different size objects require a different length of blast hose for the most comfortable and efficient blasting. With a top entry configuration, the length of the blast hose can be adjusted by simply feeding in or pulling out some of the available hose.
3. Precise Control: Since the operator does not have to fight the bend in the hose, top entry configurations allow for more precise abrasive blasting and better efficiency.
4. Longer Hose Life: The blast hose in a top entry configuration does not need to be bent nearly as much, as in a traditional through-the-deck system. As a result, wear is reduced extending the life of your blast hose.
Gonna get it painted tonight and will get pics of it on the cabinet in the morning.

It is up and running, will go get some other pics but just had to share this right away. This is using the Hornet media, it's not the plastic which is much faster (and much more expensive). I think this is way fast enough, especially since this video is doing the incredibly hard to get off newer paint. This is a 400 series belt guard being blasted about as fast as you can move the nozzle.

There is still a little more work to do and some prettying up to do, but at least it's working really good. Here is the home made top entry kit installed.
